The grand opening of the forum started with the vice-governor of St. Petersburg, Eduard Batanov, demonstrating the purposely made e-ticket uploaded to a locally-made RFID key fob. The product of the new design was produced by the ISBC Company located in Zelenograd based on self-developed Russian technology.
From June 19 to June 21, everyone willing could purchase the key fobs at the SmartTransport forum, at the Transportation Organizer's booth. It is worth noting that the key fob has features similar to a regular card: you can record various types of travel tickets on it, and also use it as a Single e-ticket. At the same time, the patented RFID key fob ISBC Key is space-saving (1/3 of a bank card size), never has scratches and cannot be broken.
The SmartTransport Forum was held on the territory of Expoforum. The event will become the largest platform in the North-West area for discussing topical problems in the development of transport infrastructure.
Earlier, The Petersburg Diary reported that the new key fobs were made of durable plastic. The product developed by domestic engineers, an RFID key fob with radio-frequency identification ISBC Key, was manufactured at the Russian ISBC plant in Zelenograd.
